Romance Impaired Special Report

the Romance Impaired Special Report

As a charter member of the romance challenged, I must have all the assistance I can obtain before birthdays, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day for the mother of my children, and any other day my partner designates is ripe for romance.

10 Rapid Romantic Tips:

1. Create a love montage by gathering up some pictures of you and your lover, perhaps a few ticket stubs of places you have visited and any other small odds and ends that possess special importance to you both.

2. When it comes to flowers, be sure to have them delivered to her place of work.  And do not go inexpensive.  Women want their fellow workers to know they can get the job done at home as well as at work.

3. If your woman has to work later than usual, create a lunch box and stuff it with her favorite things such as candies, herbal tea, and cookies.  Write "Open in Case of Emergency" on the top.  Send it off with her in the morning or deliver in person near the end of the day if possible.

4. Women seldom go to the spa alone.  Once or twice a year, spring for her and her BFF gal pal to have facials, massage, and nails done.  Realize that if her BFF is married, her husband will hate you for raising the standard.

5. Arrange a professional photo session to create a portrait as a couple. Frame the picture and place it in a prominent location.

6. If your woman has a pet, on Valentine's Day, Christmas, or her birthday, include a small present for the critters.

7. Utilize technology to your benefit.  Romantic sms messages sent to the office are unintrusive and can mean so much more than a phone call.  "I can't stop thinking about..."  And then, "... XXX"  It really is all about intimacy in the age of SMS.

8. If your partner has long hair, take the time to brush it using long slow strokes, particularly after she has had a shower or when she is getting ready for bed.

9. When you and your lover are in a shopping mall or airport, stop at one of those booths that allow you to take an instant photo. Print them out as stickers. Kiss your lover while the photo is being taken.

10. Set up a special day off from work. Start with breakfast, go for a walk in the park, go shopping, have afternoon tea in a cozy cafe, and end with a romantic dinner.

Ten ideas are not an exhaustive list, yet if you are like me, it's more than she's been getting for quite some time.

Just a start, but everybody has to start somewhere.  No matter what you spend, if she senses the effort, your benefit will be 10x.  If a holiday or birthday is approaching, go high tech and use SMS to text your ex or romance back.
